Lithuanian annual inflation held steady in May at 4.8% compared with the previous month, data from Statistics Lithuania showed Friday.
The monthly inflation rate fell in May to 0.5% from 0.9% in April.
Statistics Lithuania said housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels were 10.6% more expensive than in May 2006, while food and non-alcoholic drinks prices were 9.3% higher and hotel, cafe and restaurant bills were up 6.8%.
Clothing and footwear prices decreased 4.7% and communication costs dropped 3.8%, the statistics agency said.
