During the period of 1 January 2006 through 30 April 2007, British buyers accounted for just under 50% of all foreign purchases of real estate in Slovenia, accounting for 475 out of the total of 989 purchases during the period.
Italian buyers were the second most active on the Slovenian market, buying 27% of properties - a total of 269.
Austrian buyers took the number three position through purchasing 71 properties. Only 15 Irish buyers bought property in the country during this time.
