Turkey’s property market benefits from new flights  15.02.2008 back

Access to Turkey improves significantly with the introduction of more flights and the development of new airports. Experts say property prices should rise as a result.

Increased flights and the development of several airports in Turkey will provide property investors with easier access to the country, says Nirvana International.

The expansion in flight options will also allow travellers to reach Turkey faster than before and for a lower cost. Those wishing to fly to the country will also be able to consider a long weekend, something which has not been feasible before.

The specialist report suggests that these great improvements in flights will encourage property prices to continue to rise.

“Opening up Turkey in such a radical way is excellent news for those seeking investment or a home”, says Robert Nixon, Director of UK Operations for Nirvana International.

Both Europe and Asia are predominant in Turkey as it sits between Iraq, Syria and Iran. Popular regions in Turkey are the Western beach resorts along the Mediterranean coast, which have excellent beaches, beautiful unspoilt scenery and a lively atmosphere in the summer months.

“Property has already provided many property investors with good returns over the past few years. The new airport could boost an already buoyant market. Rental demand too will increase as tourism grows,” adds Nixon.
